Cityfarm Little Green Thumbs Program Fund

Give children the opportunity to grow their own salad! Cityfarm's Little Green Thumbs Program is a seeds-to-salad program that places indoor grow stations in schools and after-school care centres located in high needs areas. Children plant lettuce, herbs, tomato, bean and pepper plants and get to eat the food they have grown themselves.

Every $50 gift will enable one child to participate in this program. Provide the name and address of the person you'd like to honour by this green gift, and we will mail him or her a Cityfarm card.  Or you can do it yourself: Print off a PDF card with flowers or with Easter eggs.  Or email the card, by saving a copy it to your computer and attaching it to your message.

This season you will be giving the gift of self-esteem: helping children to connect with nature, appreciate how food is grown, develop healthy lifestyles and eating habits, and learn life-skills.
